Ingredients
- Vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon
- Wasabi powder
- 2 tablespoons
- Raw peanuts
- 2 cups
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the wasabi powder, soy sauce, salt, and vegetable oil to create a spicy wasabi paste.
- Add the raw peanuts to the wasabi paste and toss until they are evenly coated.
- Spread the coated peanuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded for even roasting.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the peanuts are golden brown and crispy. Make sure to shake the tray halfway through for even browning.
- Remove from the oven and allow the peanuts to cool completely on the baking sheet. They will continue to crunch up as they cool.
- Once completely cooled, store the wasabi peanuts in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
