Instructions
- Start by preparing the watermelon. Make sure to remove any seeds and cut it into small cubes for easier blending.
- Place the cubed watermelon into a blender or food processor along with the fresh mint leaves, honey, and freshly squeezed lime juice.
- Blend everything together until the mixture is smooth and well combined. You should achieve a thick, vibrant pink liquid.
- Pour the blended mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe dish. Spread it out evenly with a spatula.
- Place the dish in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until the mixture is firm to the touch.
- Once the sorbet is fully frozen, remove it from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes to soften slightly.
- Using an ice cream scoop or a spoon, scoop out the sorbet into bowls or cones. Serve immediately and enjoy this burst of summer freshness.
Tips
- For an extra touch of sophistication, garnish the sorbet with a sprig of fresh mint or a slice of lime before serving.
- If you prefer a smoother texture, you can sieve the mixture before freezing to remove any remaining pieces of watermelon or mint leaves.
