Servings: 4
Ingredients
- Beef (sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin)
- 1 pound, thinly sliced
- Soy sauce
- 1/4 cup
- Sake
- 2 tablespoons
- Mirin
- 2 tablespoons
- Sugar
- 1 tablespoon
- Garlic
- 2 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon
- Assorted vegetables
- 2 cups, cut into bite-sized pieces (bell peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, etc.)

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sake, mirin, sugar, minced garlic, and sesame oil to create a flavorful marinade.

- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat until hot.
- Thread the marinated beef slices onto skewers, alternating with your choice of sliced vegetables.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until the beef reaches your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions for added texture and flavor.
- Serve the Yakiniku skewers with steamed rice and a selection of dipping sauces such as ponzu or spicy sesame sauce.
