Yakisoba - Authentic Japanese Stir-Fry Noodles

Ingredients
- 2 packs Yakisoba noodles
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- 2, thinly sliced Chicken breast
- 2 cups, shredded Cabbage
- 1 cup, julienned Carrots
- 1, thinly sliced Bell pepper
- 1, thinly sliced Onion
- 2 cloves, minced Garlic
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 2, chopped for garnish Green onions
- for serving Pickled ginger

Instructions
- Cook the Yakisoba noodles according to the package instructions, drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken slices and stir-fry until they are fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the onion, bell pepper, carrots, and cabbage. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, until the vegetables are slightly softened.
- Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well mixed.
- Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and pour the sauce into the empty space. Let it simmer for a few seconds.
- Add the cooked noodles and chicken back into the skillet. Toss everything together until all ingredients are well coated with the sauce and heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and a side of pickled ginger.
Tips
- For a vegetarian version, replace the chicken with tofu or add more veggies.
- Japanese seven spice (Shichimi Togarashi) can be added for extra heat.
- You can swap the chicken for pork, beef, or shrimp for variation.
