
Yuzu Ramen
Yuzu ramen is a flavorful and refreshing twist on traditional ramen, featuring the citrusy taste of yuzu.
Ingredients
- Sesame seeds (1 tablespoon)
- Nori sheets (2, shredded)
- Corn kernels (1/2 cup)
- Bean sprouts (1 cup)
- Soft (boiled eggs - 2)
- Green onions (2, thinly sliced)
- Ginger (1 teaspoon, grated)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Mirin (1 tablespoon)
- Soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
- Yuzu juice (2 tablespoons)
- Chicken broth (4 cups)
- Ramen noodles (2 packs)
Instructions
- Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer over medium heat.
- Add the yuzu juice, soy sauce, mirin, garlic, and ginger to the pot. Stir well to combine.
- Simmer the broth for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Divide the cooked ramen noodles between two bowls.
- Pour the hot yuzu broth over the noodles.
- Top each bowl with sliced green onions, soft-boiled eggs, bean sprouts, corn kernels, shredded nori, and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
