Experience a taste of traditional Korean culture with our Refreshing Yuzu Tea. This soothing beverage is brewed from the aromatic zest and juicy pulp of the yuzu fruit, a citrus marvel native to East Asia. Yuzu tea is not only a delight for your taste buds with its sweet and tangy flavors but it's also packed with vitamin C, making it a perfect immune-boosting drink. Enjoy it chilled over ice for a refreshing summer cooler, or serve it hot for a comforting winter warmer. One sip, and you'll feel like you're in a cozy Korean teahouse!
Ingredients
- Yuzu zest
- 2 tablespoons, finely grated
- Water
- 4 cups
- Sugar
- 1/2 cup
- Yuzu fruit
- 2 fruits, juiced
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the yuzu juice, sugar, and water.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir the mixture continuously until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Once the sugar is dissolved, bring the mixture to a boil.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat once boiling, and stir in the finely grated yuzu zest.

- Serve the yuzu tea over ice in a tall glass, garnished with additional yuzu zest if desired. Enjoy this refreshing drink on a hot summer day!
Tips
- For a winter version, you can serve this tea hot. Simply reheat the tea in the saucepan before serving, omitting the ice.
- If yuzu fruit is unavailable, you can substitute it with a mixture of lemon and grapefruit to mimic the unique flavor of yuzu.
