Inspired by the traditional cuisine of Provence, this Zucchini and Garlic Tian combines fresh, simple ingredients to create a dish that sings with flavor. Tender, thinly-sliced zucchini is delicately seasoned with minced garlic, sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper, then lightly dressed in premium olive oil before being baked to perfection. Ingredients

Zucchini
3 medium-sized, thinly sliced
Garlic
4 cloves, minced
Extra-virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons
Sea salt
1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. While the oven is heating, thinly slice the zucchini using a mandolin slicer or a sharp knife.
  3. Peel and mince the garlic cloves.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced zucchini, minced garlic, olive oil, sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Toss gently until the zucchini slices are evenly coated.
  5. Arrange the zucchini slices in a 9x13 inch baking dish, overlapping them in a shingle pattern for a visually pleasing presentation.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the zucchini is tender and the edges are golden brown.
