Sémillon

A golden-skinned white grape that produces rich, waxy wines with flavors of lemon curd, lanolin, and honey. Thin-skinned and susceptible to noble rot, it is the backbone of Sauternes dessert wines and ages magnificently in the Hunter Valley of Australia.
