Grilled Abalone with Garlic Lemon Dressing

- Abalone
- 4 large, cleaned and tenderized
- Olive oil
- 4 tablespoons
- Lemon
- 1, juiced and zested
- Garlic
- 3 cloves, minced
- Fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt

Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, ensuring it's hot enough to create a nice sear.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, and chopped parsley to create the dressing.
- Carefully brush the cleaned abalone with the garlic lemon dressing, reserving some for serving. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the abalone on the grill, shell side down, and cook for approximately 5 minutes. You should see a slight caramelization.
- Gently flip the abalone and continue grilling for another 5 minutes, or until the flesh is firm and opaque.
- Once cooked, remove the abalone from the grill and drizzle the reserved dressing over the top.
- Serve immediately with an extra wedge of lemon for squeezing and a sprinkle of chopped parsley for garnish.
