Garlic powder
1 teaspoon
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon
Mayonnaise
1/4 cup (for dipping sauce)

1 teaspoon (for dipping sauce)
Cajun seasoning
1/2 teaspoon (for dipping sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the Cajun seasoning, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring not to overcrowd for even cooking.
  5. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping the shrimp halfway through the cooking time, until they are golden and crispy.
  6. While the shrimp are cooking, prepare the dipping sauce by mixing together the mayonnaise, hot sauce, lemon juice, and Cajun seasoning in a small bowl until smooth.
  7. Once the shrimp are cooked, serve them hot with the zesty dipping sauce on the side.

Tips

  • 💡 For extra heat, consider adding cayenne pepper or using a spicier hot sauce in the dipping sauce.
  • 💡 Feel free to substitute the shrimp with chicken or tofu for a different take on the dish.
  • 💡 Marinate the shrimp in the seasoning mixture for 30 minutes before cooking to enhance the flavor.
