Fresh blueberries
1 cup, plus extra for garnish
Lemonade
2 cups, preferably homemade or all-natural
Mint leaves
1/4 cup, plus extra for garnish
Ice cubes
as needed
Fresh lemon slices
2, for garnish
Sparkling water
2 cups, chilled

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine 1 cup of fresh blueberries and 2 cups of lemonade. Blend on high until smooth and well-combined.
  2. Strain the blueberry lemonade mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove any pulp, if desired, for a smoother texture.
  3. Fill two glasses with ice cubes, leaving some space at the top.
  4. Pour the blueberry lemonade mixture evenly into the glasses, filling them about two-thirds full.
  5. Top each glass with chilled sparkling water, adjusting the amount based on your preference for fizziness.
  6. Garnish each drink with fresh lemon slices, a few whole blueberries, and a sprig of mint leaves.
  7. Stir gently to mix the ingredients, and serve immediately while chilled.

Tips

  • 💡 For an extra burst of flavor, muddle a few mint leaves at the bottom of each glass before adding ice.
  • 💡 If you prefer a sweeter drink, adjust the amount of lemonade or add a splash of simple syrup.
  • 💡 For a fun twist, try adding a splash of vodka or gin for a refreshing adult beverage.
