Fresh blueberries
2 cups, plus extra for garnish
Fresh mint leaves
1/2 cup, plus extra sprigs for garnish
Lemons
4, juiced
Sugar
3/4 cup (adjust to taste)
Water
4 cups, divided
Ice cubes
as needed

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine 2 cups of fresh blueberries, 1/2 cup of mint leaves, the juice of 4 lemons, 2 cups of water, and 3/4 cup of sugar.
  2. Blend on high until smooth and well combined, ensuring that the blueberries and mint are fully pureed.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any solids, pressing down with a spatula to extract as much liquid as possible.
  4. Add the remaining 2 cups of water to the pitcher and stir well to combine. Adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  5. To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the blueberry mint lemonade over the ice.
  6. Garnish with additional fresh blueberries and mint sprigs for an appealing presentation.
