Yellow bell pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness, ensuring it's slightly larger than the pizza stone or baking sheet.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to a piece of parchment paper for easy handling.
  4. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.
  6. Arrange the sliced yellow and red bell peppers, zucchini, red onion, and halved cherry tomatoes artfully on top of the cheese.
  7. Drizzle the olive oil over the arranged vegetables, enhancing their flavors during baking.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste, ensuring a well-rounded flavor.
  9. Carefully slide the pizza (with the parchment paper) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and immediately sprinkle with fresh chopped basil.
  12. Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving to let the flavors meld.
