Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Lightly grease a large cookie sheet (approximately 18x13 inches) with olive oil or cooking spray.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on the greased cookie sheet, stretching it to fit the edges, ensuring an even thickness.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce to create a cheesy base.
  6. Layer the pepperoni, diced bell peppers, sliced red onion, and black olives evenly over the cheese.
  7. Season the toppings with salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle the chopped fresh basil on top.
  8. Finish by adding the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese over all the toppings, ensuring a gooey, cheesy finish.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares and serving warm.

  • 💡 To make your own pizza sauce, blend canned tomatoes with garlic, olive oil, oregano, and a pinch of sugar.
