Ingredients

Original recipe serves 4

Eucalyptus leaves
2 tablespoons, dried or 4-6 fresh leaves
Water
4 cups
Honey
1-2 tablespoons, to taste
Lemon slice
1, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.
  2. Once boiling, add 2 tablespoons of dried eucalyptus leaves or 4-6 fresh eucalyptus leaves to the water.
  3. Reduce the heat to a simmer and let the mixture steep for 10-15 minutes. The longer you steep, the stronger the flavor.
  4. After steeping, strain the tea using a fine mesh sieve to remove the leaves.
  5. Pour the tea into cups and sweeten with honey to taste. Stir well to dissolve the honey.
  6. Garnish with a slice of lemon for a refreshing twist.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy the soothing properties of your homemade eucalyptus tea.
