Fresh rosemary
1/4 cup, chopped
Grapefruit juice
1/2 cup, freshly squeezed
Grapefruit zest
1 tablespoon
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Honey
2 tablespoons
Olive oil
1/4 cup
Salt
1 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the chopped fresh rosemary, grapefruit juice, grapefruit zest, minced garlic, honey, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Whisk the mixture vigorously until all ingredients are well incorporated and the honey is fully dissolved.
  3. Place your choice of protein (chicken, fish, or pork) in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
  4. Pour the marinade over the protein, ensuring it is well coated on all sides.
  5. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or for optimal flavor, overnight.
  6. Before cooking, remove the protein from the marinade and discard the remaining marinade.
