
Tori Paitan Ramen
Tori Paitan Ramen is a rich and creamy chicken-based ramen soup with tender chicken slices, noodles, and flavorful toppings.
Ingredients
- Nori seaweed (2 sheets, shredded)
- Soft (boiled eggs - 2)
- Green onions (2, sliced)
- Ramen noodles (2 packs)
- Salt (to taste)
- Mirin (2 tablespoons)
- Soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
- Onion (1, chopped)
- Ginger (1-inch piece, grated)
- Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
- Chicken breasts (2, boneless and skinless)
- Chicken bones (1.5 lbs)
Instructions
- In a large pot, add the chicken bones, chicken breasts, garlic, ginger, onion, soy sauce, mirin, and salt.
- Cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 1 hour, skimming off any impurities that rise to the surface.
- Remove the chicken breasts and shred them. Set aside.
- Strain the broth and discard the solids. Return the broth to the pot and keep warm.
- Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Divide the cooked noodles into serving bowls. Top with the shredded chicken, green onions, soft-boiled eggs, and shredded nori seaweed.
- Ladle the hot broth over the noodles and toppings.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
