
Apricot Crumble Ravioli
These delicious apricot-filled ravioli are topped with a sweet crumble topping for a delightful dessert.
Ingredients
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
- Salt (1/4 teaspoon)
- Vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
- Butter (1/2 cup, cold and diced)
- Brown sugar (1/2 cup)
- All (purpose flour - 2 cups)
- Cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon)
- Lemon juice (1 tablespoon)
- Sugar (1/4 cup)
- Apricots (1 cup, diced)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the diced apricots, sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Mix well and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, diced cold butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Use your fingers or a pastry cutter to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the ravioli dough into thin sheets.
- Place spoonfuls of the apricot mixture onto one sheet of dough, leaving space between each spoonful.
- Cover with another sheet of dough and press down gently to seal the edges.
- Use a ravioli cutter or a sharp knife to cut out individual ravioli.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the ravioli for about 3-4 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
- Remove the cooked ravioli from the water and let them cool slightly.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Place the cooked ravioli on a baking sheet and sprinkle the crumble topping over each ravioli.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crumble topping is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
