Blueberry Lavender Italian Soda

Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the fresh blueberries, sugar, water, and dried lavender buds.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
- After simmering, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl to separate the solids from the liquid. Discard the solids.
- Allow the blueberry lavender syrup to cool down to room temperature. You can speed up this process by placing it in the refrigerator.
- To serve the soda, fill each glass with ice cubes.
- Pour about 2 tablespoons (or more to taste) of the cooled blueberry lavender syrup into each glass.
- Top up the glass with club soda, filling it to the brim.
