- Gluten-free all-purpose flour (2 cups)
- Instant yeast (1 tablespoon)
- Xanthan gum (1 teaspoon)
- Salt (1 teaspoon)
- Honey (1 tablespoon)
- Warm water (1 cup (110°f/43°c))
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the gluten-free all-purpose flour, instant yeast, xanthan gum, and salt until well combined.
- Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the warm water, olive oil, and honey. Mix with a spatula or wooden spoon until a sticky dough forms.
- Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface (using gluten-free flour) and knead gently for about 5 minutes or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for approximately 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down gently to release air. Transfer it to a greased pizza pan or baking sheet. Using your hands, shape the dough into a round pizza crust, about 12 inches in diameter.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until lightly golden.
