Green Bean and Turkey Casserole

This delicious green bean and turkey casserole is a perfect dish for a hearty and comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • French fried onions (1 cup)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Onion (1 medium, diced)
  • Milk (1/2 cup)
  • Cream of mushroom soup (1 can (10.5 ounces))
  • Turkey breast (2 cups, cooked and shredded)
  • Green beans (1 pound, trimmed and halved)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
  4. Add the shredded turkey to the skillet and cook for a few minutes until heated through.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. In a greased casserole dish, layer the cooked green beans, turkey mixture, and the soup mixture. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
  7. Top the casserole with French fried onions.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the onions are golden brown.
