
Green Bean and Turkey Casserole
This delicious green bean and turkey casserole is a perfect dish for a hearty and comforting meal.
Ingredients
- French fried onions (1 cup)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Onion (1 medium, diced)
- Milk (1/2 cup)
- Cream of mushroom soup (1 can (10.5 ounces))
- Turkey breast (2 cups, cooked and shredded)
- Green beans (1 pound, trimmed and halved)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
- Add the shredded turkey to the skillet and cook for a few minutes until heated through.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer the cooked green beans, turkey mixture, and the soup mixture. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
- Top the casserole with French fried onions.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the onions are golden brown.
