Servings: 4
Ingredients
- Almond flour (2 cups)
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded (2 cups, divided)
- Cream cheese (2 oz)
- Egg (1, large)
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
- Garlic powder (1 teaspoon)
- Italian seasoning (1 teaspoon)
- Pizza sauce (1/2 cup)
- Pepperoni slices (1 cup)
- Bell peppers, sliced (1/2 cup)
- Black olives, sliced (1/4 cup)
- Fresh basil (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 2 cups of almond flour, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, and 2 oz of cream cheese. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir well until the mixture is smooth and combined.
- Add 1 large egg, 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the mixture. Mix thoroughly until a uniform dough forms.
- Place the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Using your hands or a rolling pin, press the dough into a thin, round crust, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until it is golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread 1/2 cup of pizza sauce evenly over the surface.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Top with 1 cup of pepperoni slices, 1/2 cup of sliced bell peppers, and 1/4 cup of sliced black olives, distributing them evenly across the pizza.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh basil for a burst of flavor.
- Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving, allowing the flavors to meld and making it easier to slice.
