
Keto Fathead Pizza
This delicious keto-friendly pizza is made with a low-carb, gluten-free crust and topped with your favorite toppings.
Ingredients
- Fresh basil (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Black olives (1/4 cup, sliced)
- Bell peppers (1/4 cup, sliced)
- Pepperoni slices (1/2 cup)
- Mozzarella cheese (1 cup, shredded)
- Pizza sauce (1/2 cup)
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
- Garlic powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Italian seasoning (1 teaspoon)
- Egg (1)
- Cream cheese (2 tablespoons)
- Mozzarella cheese (2 cups, shredded)
- Almond flour (1 1/2 cups)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the almond flour, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, and cream cheese. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir well.
- Add the egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.
- Place the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet and press it into a thin, round crust.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the pizza sauce evenly over the surface.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Top with pepperoni slices, bell peppers, and black olives.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh basil.
- Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
