Ingredients

Fresh mint leaves

Chocolate shavings

Whipped cream
1 cup
Peppermint extract
1 teaspoon
Powdered sugar
1/2 cup
Cream cheese
1 (8-ounce) package, softened
Hot water
2 tablespoons
Instant coffee
1 tablespoon
Butter
1/2 cup, melted
Chocolate cookies
2 cups, crushed

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the crushed chocolate cookies and melted butter until well combined. Press this mixture firmly into the base of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
  2. Dissolve the instant coffee in hot water in a small bowl, stirring until fully dissolved. Let it cool.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and peppermint extract until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Gradually add the cooled coffee mixture to the cream cheese mixture, continuing to beat until the ingredients are fully blended.
  5. Spread the mocha mint filling evenly over the chilled cookie crust. Smooth the surface with a spatula.
  6. Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours, or until the filling is set and firm.
  7. Before serving, top the pie with whipped cream. Garnish with chocolate shavings and fresh mint leaves for a visually stunning presentation.
