  • Brown sugar (1 cup)
  • Ketchup (1 cup)
  • Moxie soda (1 can (12 ounces))

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the Moxie soda, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium-high heat and bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer. Stir occasionally for about 20-30 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency.
  4. After the sauce has thickened, remove the saucepan from the heat. Allow the sauce to cool before using it on your BBQ dishes.
  5. The sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
