Ingredients
- Crusty rolls

- Provolone cheese
- 8 slices
- Salt and pepper

- 2 tablespoons
- Green bell pepper
- 1, thinly sliced
- Onion
- 1 large, thinly sliced
- Ribeye steak
- 1 lb, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the thinly sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Sauté until they are soft and caramelized, which should take about 8-10 minutes. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set them aside.
- In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced steak. Cook until it is browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Season the steak with salt and pepper to taste.
- Return the sautéed onions and bell peppers to the skillet. Mix them well with the steak.
- Arrange the provolone cheese slices on top of the steak and vegetable mixture. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted.
- In the meantime, slice the crusty rolls in half and lightly toast them.
- Divide the steak mixture evenly among the toasted rolls. Use a spatula to transfer the mixture.
