Ingredients
- Pickled ginger (for serving)
- Wasabi (for serving)
- Soy sauce (for serving)
- Cucumber (1, julienned)
- Avocado (1, sliced)
- Cooked prawns (12 large, peeled and deveined)
- Nori seaweed sheets (4 sheets)
- Sushi rice (2 cups)
Instructions
- Prepare the sushi rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
- Place a sheet of nori seaweed on a bamboo sushi mat.
- Spread a thin layer of sushi rice evenly over the nori, leaving a small border at the top.
- Arrange the prawns, avocado, and cucumber in a line across the center of the rice.
- Using the sushi mat, tightly roll the nori and rice around the filling, applying gentle pressure.
- Moisten the top border of the nori with water to seal the roll.
- Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients to make additional rolls.
- Using a sharp knife, slice each roll into bite-sized pieces.
- Serve the prawn sushi rolls with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
