
African Sunrise Cold Brew
This refreshing cold brew is inspired by the vibrant flavors of Africa, with hints of citrus and spices.
Ingredients
- Cinnamon sticks (for garnish)
- Orange slices (for garnish)
- Ice cubes (1 cup)
- Honey (2 tablespoons)
- Cardamom pods (2)
- Cinnamon stick (1)
- Orange peel (1 strip)
- Water (2 cups)
- Coarsely ground coffee (1/2 cup)
Instructions
- In a large jar or pitcher, combine the coarsely ground coffee, water, orange peel, cinnamon stick, and cardamom pods.
- Stir well to ensure all the coffee grounds are saturated.
- Cover the jar or pitcher and let it steep in the refrigerator overnight, or for at least 12 hours.
- After steeping, strain the cold brew mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or coffee filter to remove the coffee grounds and spices.
- Stir in the honey until well combined.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the cold brew over the ice.
- Garnish with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
