Salt
to taste
Paprika
1 tablespoon
Onion powder
1 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1 teaspoon
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Sirloin steak
1.5 pounds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. This will form your rub.
  3. Drizzle the sirloin steak with olive oil. Ensure it's evenly coated on both sides.
  4. Apply the spice rub to the steak, distributing it evenly. Gently press the rub into the steak to adhere.
  5. Place the steak on the preheated grill. Cook for approximately 6-8 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until your preferred level of doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy; 145°F for medium rare, 160°F for medium.
  6. Once done, remove the steak from the grill. Let it rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute within the steak.
  7. Slice the steak against the grain into thin slices. Serve hot and enjoy the tender, juicy flavors of your grilled sirloin steak.
