Serves 4

Ingredients

Salt
1 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon, freshly ground
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons
Brown sugar
1/4 cup
Apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup
BBQ sauce
1 cup

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Whisk together until all ingredients are thoroughly blended and the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Pour the marinade over your choice of meat, ensuring it is well coated on all sides.
  4. Cover and let the meat marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours, preferably overnight for maximum flavor infusion.
  5. When ready to cook, remove the meat from the marinade and discard any marinade that has come into contact with raw meat.
  6. Grill the meat over medium-high heat, following your desired cooking times and techniques.

Tips

  • 💡 For an extra kick, add a teaspoon of smoked paprika or cayenne pepper to the marinade.
  • 💡 This marinade works well with vegetables too! Just toss your favorite veggies in the marinade and grill them alongside your meat.
  • 💡 To make a BBQ glaze, reserve some of the marinade before adding the raw meat. Brush it over the meat during the last few minutes of grilling.
