
Black and Tan Coffee
This delicious black and tan coffee combines the rich flavors of black coffee and creamy tan coffee for the perfect morning pick-me-up.
Ingredients
- Cocoa powder (for garnish)
- Whipped cream (for topping)
- Vanilla extract (1/2 teaspoon)
- Sugar (1 tablespoon)
- Milk (1/2 cup)
- Strong black coffee (1 cup)
Instructions
- Brew a strong cup of black coffee.
- In a separate saucepan, heat the milk, sugar, and vanilla extract over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
- Pour the black coffee into a mug, leaving some space at the top.
- Slowly pour the hot milk mixture over the back of a spoon into the mug, allowing it to layer on top of the black coffee.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cocoa powder for garnish.
