Black and Tan Coffee

This delicious black and tan coffee combines the rich flavors of black coffee and creamy tan coffee for the perfect morning pick-me-up.

Ingredients

  • Cocoa powder (for garnish)
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Vanilla extract (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Sugar (1 tablespoon)
  • Milk (1/2 cup)
  • Strong black coffee (1 cup)

Instructions

  1. Brew a strong cup of black coffee.
  2. In a separate saucepan, heat the milk, sugar, and vanilla extract over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  3. Pour the black coffee into a mug, leaving some space at the top.
  4. Slowly pour the hot milk mixture over the back of a spoon into the mug, allowing it to layer on top of the black coffee.
  5. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cocoa powder for garnish.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
