Servings: 4

Ingredients

Sesame seeds
1 tablespoon
Green onions
2, chopped
Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon, freshly ground
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon
Honey
2 tablespoons
Sesame oil
2 tablespoons
Soy sauce
1/4 cup
Fresh ginger
1 tablespoon, minced
Garlic
2 cloves, minced
Snow peas
1 cup
Broccoli
1 cup, cut into florets
Bell peppers
1 cup, sliced
Carrots
1 cup, julienned
Cauliflower
1 head, cut into florets

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until they are fragrant and slightly golden.
  3. Add the cauliflower florets, carrots, bell peppers, broccoli, and snow peas to the skillet. Stir fry these for 5-6 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to create the savory sauce.
  5. Pour the prepared sauce over the vegetables in the skillet. Toss until all the vegetables are evenly coated.
  6. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly and is clinging to the vegetables.
  7. Remove the skillet from heat. Garnish the stir fry with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
  8. Serve hot right out of the skillet. Enjoy this vibrant, flavorful dish as is or with a side of steamed rice or noodles.
