Instructions
- Heat cooking oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chili. Cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until they are no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes.
- Incorporate the sliced bell peppers and chopped tomatoes, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.
- Sprinkle in the turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to coat the chicken and vegetables evenly with the spices.
- Cover the pan and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Once cooked, sprinkle garam masala over the top and give it a final stir to combine.
