- Bell peppers (2, sliced)
- Onion (1, sliced)
- Vegetable oil (2 tablespoons)
- Salt (to taste)
- Garam masala (1 teaspoon)
- Paprika (1 teaspoon)
- Coriander powder (1 teaspoon)
- Cumin powder (1 teaspoon)
- Turmeric powder (1 teaspoon)
- Ginger (garlic paste - 2 tablespoons)
- Lemon juice (2 tablespoons)
- Yogurt (1/2 cup)
- Chicken breasts (500 grams, boneless and skinless)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, paprika, garam masala, and salt to make the marinade.
- Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly. Marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

- Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers. Place the skewers on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.

- While the chicken is baking, heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add sliced onions and bell peppers. Cook until they are slightly softened.
- Once the chicken tikka is cooked, remove it from the oven and carefully slide the chicken pieces off the skewers.
- Add the cooked chicken tikka to the pan with onions and bell peppers. Toss everything together to combine.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with lemon wedges.
- Enjoy your delicious chicken tikka!
