
Country Potatoes with Sausage
A hearty and delicious dish perfect for breakfast or dinner. The combination of potatoes and sausage makes it a filling meal.
Ingredients
- Cheddar cheese (1 cup, shredded)
- Paprika (1 teaspoon)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Bell pepper (1, chopped)
- Onion (1 large, chopped)
- Sausage (1 pound, sliced)
- Potatoes (4 large, diced)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the potatoes, onion, bell pepper, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until the potatoes are golden and crispy, about 20 minutes.
- Return the sausage to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for another 5 minutes, until everything is heated through.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top and cover the skillet. Let it sit for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Serve hot and enjoy your country potatoes with sausage.
