Goi Ga

Goi Ga is a refreshing Vietnamese chicken salad made with poached chicken, fresh herbs, and a tangy dressing.

Ingredients

  • Red chili (1, thinly sliced)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Sugar (1 tablespoon)
  • Fish sauce (2 tablespoons)
  • Lime juice (2 tablespoons)
  • Roasted peanuts (1/4 cup, crushed)
  • Cilantro (1/2 cup, chopped)
  • Mint leaves (1/2 cup, chopped)
  • Cucumber (1, thinly sliced)
  • Carrots (1 cup, julienned)
  • Cabbage (2 cups, thinly sliced)
  • Chicken breast (2 cups, cooked and shredded)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cabbage, carrots, cucumber, mint leaves, and cilantro.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, garlic, and red chili.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
  4. Garnish with crushed roasted peanuts.
  5. Serve chilled and enjoy!
