Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, ensuring the grates are clean and lightly oiled.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Place the kingklip fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are thoroughly coated. Allow the fillets to marinate for at least 15-30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Once marinated, remove the fillets from the marinade and let any excess drip off.
- Carefully place the fillets on the preheated grill. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks.
- Transfer the grilled kingklip to a serving platter, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top, and garnish with additional parsley.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
Tips
- For added flavor, consider marinating the fish for up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- You can substitute kingklip with other firm white fish such as cod or halibut if kingklip is unavailable.
- Serve with a side of grilled vegetables or a fresh arugula salad to complement the dish.
