Servings: 4

Ingredients

Lobster tails
4 (about 6-8 oz each)
Unsalted butter
1/2 cup (1 stick), melted
Garlic
4 cloves, minced
Lemon juice
2 tablespoons, freshly squeezed
Salt
1 teaspoon, or to taste
Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
Fresh parsley
2 tablespoons, finely chopped, for garnish
Lemon wedges
for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, ensuring it's well-heated for optimal grilling.
  2. Using kitchen shears, carefully cut through the top shell of the lobster tails, stopping just before the end. Remove the vein for better flavor.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a flavorful garlic butter sauce.
  4. Generously brush the garlic butter sauce over the lobster tails, making sure they are well coated for maximum flavor.
  5. Place the lobster tails on the grill, shell side down, and cook for 5 minutes. This allows the meat to absorb the grill's smoky flavors.
  6. Flip the lobster tails and continue grilling for another 5 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
  7. Once cooked, remove the lobster tails from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot with additional lemon wedges for squeezing.
