Relish the delicate, melt-in-your-mouth texture of sea bass, elevated by a harmonious blend of fresh lemon, smooth butter, and fragrant parsley. This recipe hails from the inviting shores of the Mediterranean, where sea bass is a local treasure. It's a testament to the cuisine's philosophy of simplicity, allowing the fresh, succulent sea bass to truly shine. The vibrant lemon butter sauce, bubbling with zest and richness, creates a beautiful contrast to the grilled fish, making every bite an unforgettable gastronomic journey. It's a symphony of flavors that will transport you to a sunny seaside café with every bite.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

Sea bass fillets
4 (6-ounce) fillets
Extra-virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons
Salt
1 teaspoon
Freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon
Unsalted butter
1/2 cup
Fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup
Fresh parsley
2 tablespoons, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. While waiting for the grill to heat up, brush both sides of the sea bass fillets with olive oil. Season each fillet evenly with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  3. Once the grill is ready, place the fillets skin side down. Grill for about 5 minutes, then carefully flip each fillet. Continue grilling for another 3-4 minutes, or until the fish becomes opaque and can easily be flaked with a fork.
  4. As the fish grills, start preparing the lemon butter sauce. Over medium heat, melt the butter in a small saucepan. Once the butter has melted, stir in the fresh lemon juice and finely chopped parsley, combining well.
  5. After the fish has been perfectly grilled, remove from the grill and generously drizzle each fillet with the warm lemon butter sauce just before serving. Enjoy this Mediterranean delight!
