Irish Breakfast Tea
1 tea bag
Hot water
1 cup
Milk
1 cup (whole or preferred milk alternative)
Honey
1-2 tablespoons (to taste)
Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon (plus extra for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil water and let it cool slightly before pouring over the tea bag.
  2. Steep the Irish Breakfast Tea bag in hot water for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
  3. While the tea is steeping, heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until hot but not boiling, stirring occasionally to prevent scalding.
  4. Remove the tea bag from the water and discard it.
  5. Pour the steeped tea into a large mug, filling it about halfway.
  6. Gently pour the hot milk into the mug, filling it to the top, and stir carefully to combine.
  7. Stir in the honey and cinnamon until thoroughly mixed, adjusting sweetness to your preference.
