Ingredients

Cooked rice
4 cups
Cooked meat (beef, chicken, or pork)
2 cups, diced
Salt

Pepper

Honey
1 tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons
Soy sauce
3 tablespoons
Beef or chicken broth
4 cups
Curry powder
3 tablespoons
Ginger
1 tablespoon, grated
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Potato
1 large, diced
Carrot
1 large, sliced
Onion
1 medium, diced
Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion, sliced carrot, and diced potato. Sauté until the vegetables are slightly softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic, grated ginger, and curry powder. Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring constantly to release the flavors.
  4. Pour in the beef or chicken broth, and add the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and honey. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  5. Increase the heat to bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 30 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  6. Add the diced cooked meat to the pot and continue to simmer for an additional 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  7. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  8. Serve the curry hot over a bed of fluffy cooked rice.
