Jicama and Sweet Potato Fries

These crispy and flavorful jicama and sweet potato fries are a healthier alternative to traditional french fries.

Ingredients

  • Black pepper (1/4 teaspoon)
  • Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Garlic powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Paprika (1 teaspoon)
  • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Sweet potatoes (2 medium, peeled and cut into fries)
  • Jicama (1 medium, peeled and cut into fries)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the jicama and sweet potato fries with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
  3. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are crispy and golden brown.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
