Ingredients

  • Fresh rosemary (2 sprigs)
  • Butter (2 tablespoons)
  • Garlic powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Black pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Salt (1 teaspoon)
  • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
  • New york strip steaks (2 (8 oz) steaks)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or a cast-iron skillet over high heat.
  2. Rub the steaks with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Place the steaks on the grill or skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time to your desired doneness.
  4. Remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  5. While the steaks are resting, melt the butter in a small saucepan and add the fresh rosemary sprigs. Cook for 1-2 minutes to infuse the butter with the rosemary flavor.
  6. Slice the steaks against the grain and drizzle with the rosemary butter.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
