Ingredients
- Fresh rosemary (2 sprigs)
- Butter (2 tablespoons)
- Garlic powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Black pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
- Salt (1 teaspoon)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- New york strip steaks (2 (8 oz) steaks)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill or a cast-iron skillet over high heat.
- Rub the steaks with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Place the steaks on the grill or skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time to your desired doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- While the steaks are resting, melt the butter in a small saucepan and add the fresh rosemary sprigs. Cook for 1-2 minutes to infuse the butter with the rosemary flavor.
- Slice the steaks against the grain and drizzle with the rosemary butter.
