1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
Ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon, or to taste
Cheddar cheese
1 cup, shredded
Milk
1/4 cup
Eggs
6, large
Potato
1, large, thinly sliced
Onion
1, large, thinly sliced
Olive oil
2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the thinly sliced onions to the skillet and sauté until they turn soft and golden, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the thinly sliced potatoes to the skillet and continue to cook until they are tender, about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.
  5. In a separate large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the cooked onions and potatoes in the skillet, ensuring an even distribution.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  8. Carefully transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until the frittata is set and the cheese is beautifully melted and golden brown.
  9. Remove the skillet from the oven and allow the frittata to cool for a few minutes before slicing into wedges and serving.
