
Oregano Chicken
This flavorful oregano chicken is marinated in a blend of herbs and spices, then grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
- Black pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
- Salt (1 teaspoon)
- Lemon juice (2 tablespoons)
- Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
- Fresh oregano (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Chicken breasts (4 boneless, skinless)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, oregano, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Place the chicken breasts in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Slice the chicken and serve it with your favorite side dishes.
