3 tablespoons
Salt
1 teaspoon or to taste
Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon or to taste
Dried basil
1 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon
Breadcrumbs
1 cup
Parmesan cheese
1 cup, grated
Chicken breasts
4, boneless and skinless

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, about 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to evenly distribute the ingredients.
  3. Brush each chicken breast with olive oil on both sides. This will help the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture adhere to the chicken.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in the Parmesan mixture, pressing firmly to ensure the coating adheres well to each side.
  5. Place the coated chicken breasts on the preheated grill. Cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the chicken is no longer pink in the center and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) when measured with a meat thermometer.
  6. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it even more tender and flavorful.
