Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, about 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to evenly distribute the ingredients.
- Brush each chicken breast with olive oil on both sides. This will help the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture adhere to the chicken.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the Parmesan mixture, pressing firmly to ensure the coating adheres well to each side.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on the preheated grill. Cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the chicken is no longer pink in the center and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) when measured with a meat thermometer.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it even more tender and flavorful.
- Serve your Parmesan Crusted Grilled Chicken hot, alongside a fresh salad or grilled vegetables for a balanced meal. Enjoy!
Tips
- You can use different herbs like oregano or rosemary for a variation in flavor.
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the Parmesan mixture.
