
Parmesan Crusted Salmon Burgers
These delicious salmon burgers are coated with a crispy parmesan crust and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
- Mayonnaise (4 tablespoons)
- Red onion (1, thinly sliced)
- Tomato (1, sliced)
- Lettuce (4 leaves)
- Burger buns (4)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Egg (1, beaten)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Garlic powder (1 teaspoon)
- Fresh parsley (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup, grated)
- Breadcrumbs (1/2 cup)
- Salmon fillets (1 lb, skinless and boneless)
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cut the salmon fillets into chunks and place them in a food processor. Pulse until finely chopped.
- Transfer the chopped salmon to a bowl and add the beaten egg. Mix well to combine.
- Divide the salmon mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Coat each salmon patty with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the salmon patties to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Toast the burger buns if desired.
- Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun.
- Place a salmon patty on top of the mayonnaise.
- Top with lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion.
- Cover with the top half of the bun.
- Serve the parmesan crusted salmon burgers immediately and enjoy!
