Enhanced Peach Chutney
This luscious peach chutney combines the sweetness of ripe peaches with the tang of apple cider vinegar, creating a delightful balance of flavors that dance on your palate. - 4 cups, peeled and diced Peaches
- 1 cup, finely chopped Red onion
- 1 cup Apple cider vinegar
- 3/4 cup Brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Raisins
- 3 cloves, minced Garlic
- 1 tablespoon, grated Ginger
- 1 tablespoon Mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions
- In a large saucepan, combine the diced peaches, chopped red onion, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, raisins, minced garlic, grated ginger, mustard seeds, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and black pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the chutney to cool completely at room temperature.
- Transfer the chutney into sterilized jars, seal them properly, and refrigerate for at least 24 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature alongside grilled meats, cheeses, or as a spread on sandwiches.
Tips
- For added heat, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes or finely chopped fresh chili.
- If peaches are out of season, feel free to substitute with nectarines or apricots for a different flavor profile.
