Pineapple Juice and Brown Sugar Marinade

A sweet and tangy marinade that's perfect for chicken, pork, or fish. The pineapple juice tenderizes the meat, while the brown sugar adds a hint of sweetness.

Ingredients

  • Ginger (1 tablespoon, grated)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Soy sauce (1/4 cup)
  • Brown sugar (1/2 cup)
  • Pineapple juice (1 cup)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  2. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Place your choice of meat in a large zip-top bag and pour the marinade over it.
  4. Seal the bag and make sure the meat is fully coated with the marinade.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  6. Remove the meat from the marinade and cook as desired. Discard the used marinade.
