
Pineapple Juice and Brown Sugar Marinade
A sweet and tangy marinade that's perfect for chicken, pork, or fish. The pineapple juice tenderizes the meat, while the brown sugar adds a hint of sweetness.
Ingredients
- Ginger (1 tablespoon, grated)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Soy sauce (1/4 cup)
- Brown sugar (1/2 cup)
- Pineapple juice (1 cup)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Place your choice of meat in a large zip-top bag and pour the marinade over it.
- Seal the bag and make sure the meat is fully coated with the marinade.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Remove the meat from the marinade and cook as desired. Discard the used marinade.
