Prawns
1 pound, peeled and deveined
Bell peppers
2, sliced (any colors you prefer)
Onion
1, sliced
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Lime
1, juiced
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Chili powder
1 teaspoon
Cumin

Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste
Fresh cilantro
for garnish
Guacamole
1 cup
Salsa
1 cup
Sour cream
1 cup
Tortillas
8 (flour or corn, your choice)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the prawns, sliced bell peppers, onion, minced garlic, lime juice, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure the prawns and vegetables are evenly coated with the marinade.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the prawn mixture and cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the prawns turn pink and opaque, and the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  3. While the prawn mixture is cooking, warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or in the oven until they are soft and pliable.
  4. To serve, place a generous portion of the prawn mixture onto each tortilla. Top with sour cream, salsa, guacamole, and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro.
  5. Fold the tortillas over the filling and enjoy your flavorful prawn fajitas!

Tips

  • 💡 For extra heat, add sliced jalapeños to the prawn mixture.
  • 💡 Feel free to swap out the prawns for chicken or tofu for a different protein.
  • 💡 For a smoky flavor, grill the vegetables instead of sautéing them.
