2 teaspoons
Black pepper
1 teaspoon
Salt
1 teaspoon
Chili powder
1 teaspoon
Garlic powder

  2. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder to create a spice rub.
  3. Generously rub the spice mixture all over the pork ribs, ensuring both sides are well-coated for maximum flavor.
  4. Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, and cover them tightly with another layer of foil to lock in moisture.
  5. Roast the ribs in the preheated oven for 2.5 hours, allowing them to become tender and flavorful.
  6. After 2.5 hours, remove the ribs from the oven and increase the temperature to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Brush a generous amount of barbecue sauce all over the ribs, ensuring they are fully coated.
  8. Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, and roast for an additional 30 minutes, or until the barbecue sauce is caramelized and sticky.
